Founded in 2017 as McGill Bankers in Asia by Jansen Wan, Jun Ng, Quentin Li, Yifan Liu. The club's primary purpose was to help students at McGill recruit for roles in Asia.

Club is rebranded as McGill Bankers International Association. Member placements across Canada, US, and Asia is now reflected in the name change with MBIAers placing at GS, Blackrock, Morgan Stanley, and Evercore to name a few.

New exec team composing of professionals currently at Goldman Sachs, Jefferies, BMO, and Robinhood. The club is revitalized after a hiatus due to COVID-19.

MBIA is rebranded as McGill Private Capital to better reflect the interests of our members and to aid in securing networking events and sponsorship.

The club has 25 members - including 17 analysts and 8 mentors.
